Sigh! Its exam time. I have my M.E. 1st semester exams from 13 Dec. So that means Dasvidaniya from blogosphere. I may or may not post till exams are over. However I’ll surely reply to your comments. I may or may not be reading and commenting on your posts. Even if I do, then only on some posts. Rest after the exams. My Dual Life

Its been two months since I again became a student to do my second Master of Engineering in my core branch i.e. Electrical Engineering. The first day of M.E. (Power Systems Engineering) was a portent of what lay ahead. Getting up at an unholy time (6.45 am), bathing so early in morning, attending class from 8 to 11 and taking classes after that till evening are totally draining me out mentally and physically. For those who remember my earlier post on categories of students and those who were curious to know my classification, nowadays I can be classified as

# The First Bencher :- One of my Professors in M.E. writes on the board in such a small cursive handwriting that it is not resolvable or readable from the first bench even with a pair of binoculars. Though I admit I haven’t tried using a binoculars yet. Maybe I would one day. When I was the class monitor in school, then only I’d learnt that one has to write for the audience not for oneself on board. Another speaks in low voice and another’s subject is so boring that I have to sit there to avoid sleep. 😛

# The Yawner :- Just as the Professor turns his back to us, I yawn and stretch. 6.45 am is like dawn to me. 😦

# The Stimulator :- In all the 5 subjects, there are only two which really interest me and I’m active in that class. Whether I’m fun to teach or not , that only my professors can tell. 😀

Few years back, Times of India used to feature a cartoon of the “Love is” series each day and my sister & I used to collect them. We had loads of them….and some were too good. Found some of them on the Internet. Lovely! My favorite – “Love is the biggest gamble of your life”.

My Look Alikes

I got this funny game from Sulz’s post. I had once read somewhere that there are atleast 7 people in the world having same facial features. I found 8 having similar faces as mine!!!! There are 2 more who are not celebrities and not listed in the website MyHeritage.com because people have mistook me few times in real life for two different lady teachers in two different colleges in two different cities!!!

My Death Day

Hmmm….So I’m going to die as an old hag!!! Well ok not that old maybe..Is 72 too old or is 80+ too old? And even not that hag(gish??) ..maybe I’ll be my street’s nicest old lady. But by the rate of deterioration of resources and rate of inflation I don’t think I will have safe & clean water to drink at 72. Also by then Global Warming would have done its work and the temperature in winter will be just like summer temperatures of now. And with all this genetic engineering and aliens visiting; new diseases will spread as shown in “I am Legend“. So no wonder I’m going to die of either Disease or Heat or Water on 31 December 2053!!! Shucks!! There goes a New Year Party down the drain.

P.S. I tried the reincarnation link too. Seems I’m going to be a Pigeon in my next birth.
